Hm. I'm not exactly sure what I would use this particular grass color for. But hey, its better then I could do! Maybe you should try making dead grass?

I think the problem with this one is the patches of green in the white. I would think that white grass would be on the verge of death or something lol.
Alternatively, you can always alter the green to a different color and use this as a furry character texture.

That's not a grass 'colour per-se and it's also not in any kind 'dead'. It is simply grass dosed in lime (to make lines and stuff) like it's used in nearly every sport that is played on grass :)
I mostly use it in combination with the simple grass texture  e.g. with 2 particle systems.
Dead grass? Might be worth a try :)

ok, excellent, I get it now. It's that "painted" grass that appears on sports fields. The whole "lime" terminology went right over my head ;)
