This is all black.. is it the preview scene that is
poorly lit or is your material very dark?

im sure its the lighting.
but it is quite a dark material.
maybe try on something else?

Normally, the light setup gives good results. I don't think something is wrong with out render.blend - look at all the other materials, they are lightened correctly...

Please change your monitor settings to bit darker... I can see that all your materials are so dark. Guess that your monitor is just too bright :)

well, i guess so too.
all my materials look a lot brighter on things other than render.blend, but if the monitor is the case, then so be it.
