There are several varieties of mango. A very common one is the manila mango, whose skin is mainly yellow. I think this is a good material building excercise.

i like your mango texture - mostly you got a new large spot semi transparent and i'v used this and modified it a bit to make several wood old wood texture
i hope to load these new textures soon here so check it out when you have time
